Today I want to share a roundup of posts that will hopefully inspire you to get your home, garden, and heart ready for this gorgeous season! Let's get ready for spring!
Spring is a time of new life and new beginnings. Our family is looking forward to a new beginning with the arrival of a new little one. While this spring will probably look a bit different (and a bit simpler) for our family, I'm still looking forward to watching the flowers pop up from my raised beds and adding touches of beauty to my home. I also appreciate the personal and spiritual refreshment that this season speaks to my heart.
Gardening
Oh, spring is the most glorious season for gardening! There never seems to be enough time to plant and do everything I dream of doing in my garden, but it's fun to make a little progress each year.
Gardening is a process growth, both in the plants and the gardener. It's not about perfection but beauty.
If I had to pick only one flower to grow from seed in my garden, hands down I recommend zinnias!
Herbs make a wonderful addition to any cottage garden.
Homemaking
I spend much of my time outside during the spring, and sometimes my house feels a little neglected as my cabin fever seeks a remedy in the fresh air. But spring is still a beautiful time to freshen the house!
Spring is the perfect time to spruce up outdoor spaces!
Our homes don't have to be perfect to be peaceful.
Spring is the perfect time for well...a little spring cleaning!
Personal Growth
Spring is a wonderful time to consider the growth of my own heart. While the apathy of my own heart can sometimes mimic the cold of winter , the radiating warmth of spring can melt that crusty shell and once again remind me of my need to grow personally and spiritually.
God's love is ever with us, no matter the season.
Your life's journey is unique and beautiful. Don't let the beauty of your life slip by while gazing at others.
You can start living a purposeful life right now...today! Learn to cut out the unnecessary extras and embrace what really matters.
Happy spring, friends!
