Lately, this mini-scene has played out several times in my home. Life with kids, including a new baby, is in the fast lane, and sometimes I miss the breakfast window. I don’t feel like a full-on breakfast, but I need something…


Enter Frosted Coffee!


This Frosted Coffee is so easy to make and is completely customizable. You can tweak it to your heart’s content.


If you are looking for a quick and tasty coffee treat that’s gentle on your health, Frosted Coffee is sure to hit the spot.

Frosted Coffee is a cool treat to sip while I watch my kids splash in the kiddie pool.

Here’s how to make it:


Ingredients


¾ cup cold coffee (room temperature is fine)

½ cup almond milk (or your favorite milk)

1 T protein powder

¼ cup cottage cheese

2 T sweetener of choice—maple syrup, honey, sugar, sugar alternative, etc.

2 handfuls of ice


Directions


Put all of the ingredients in a high-powered blender (I love my Vitamix). Blend until smooth. Adjust the ice level to suit your taste. I recommend starting with less ice than you want and slowly adding to reach the level of thickness you desire. Enjoy!
